Payment Breakdown: You can lease a Hyundai Genesis Coupe with the 2.0 liter turbocharged engine for $289 per month for 36 months. That equates to $10,404 over the life of the lease on a car that retails for over $25k. Breaking it down a bit more that’s $3468 per year. There is a down payment of $2699 due at signing bringing the total paid out of pocket to $13,103 over the 36 months or $4367 per year.
Other Incentives: Hyundai is offering 2 incentives that new you $500 off the down payment. The first is the Valued Owner Coupon which gets you the $500 rebate if you currently own a Hyundai. Or there is a Down Payment Match up to $500 going on now.

Mileage: You are allotted 12k miles per year or 36k miles over the life of the lease. That’s approximately 1k miles per month. After that there is a $0.20 charge for anything over the 36k miles when the lease is up. So if you drove an extra 1k miles you would owe $200.
End of Lease: There is an option to purchase the Hyundai Genesis Coupe at the end of the lease. That purchase price is $13,075. So the original MSRP was $25,145 and if you chose to lease and then purchase you would have paid out $26,178 so an extra $1k. But then again though with the bonus incentives that figure is reduced by $500.

Fine Print: The fine print states the Hyundai Genesis Lease is based on the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder model with the 6-speed manual transmission. The down payment includes the First month’s payment and capitalized cost reduction. That capitalized cost includes the $595 acquisition fee. You are responsible for maintenance, any repairs, insurance costs, and a $400 disposition fee.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe Turbo Review
Want a true sports car that is unique, sexy, and most of all affordable? Yup the Genesis Coupe is all that and more. This ride has a turbocharged engine up front and a Rear Wheel Drive out back making this a blast to drive. Back in 2009 at the Chicago Auto Show; Hyundai announced their pricing for the Genesis Coupe, but that wasn’t all. They also announced a trimmed down, sports-car version of the Coupe called the R-Spec. This car is based on a 210 horsepower 2.0 liter Turbo edition of the Genesis. It was rethought to keep enthusiasts in mind, Hyundai wanted the car to appeal to enthusiasts who want a low starting price so that consumers don’t have to pay a lot of money out of the box and have the ability to tune the car the their own arrangement.

The best part is that the Genesis Coupe is at dealships right now. The starting price is low, so for about $22,000plus you get a heavily equipped car. Right off the bat you get a 210 horsepower, 2.0 Liter turbocharged, four cylinder 2.0T model and if you really want the R-Spec with a kick, the 306 horsepower monster 3.8 liter V6 is available for a base price of $25,000. The R-Spec that is $3,000 less than the 2.0T Track model definitely makes up for the price difference in a series of performance oriented features. Some include track tuned suspension, 19 inch gunmetal finished allow wheels, fitted performance tires, a Brembo braking system, a Torsen limited slip differential, and of course R-Spec emblems.

Hyundai wanted a high performance car at a low price, so in order to reduce weight and price the car maker eliminated some luxury comfort. The Genesis R-Spec Coupe does not have Bluetooth capabilities, automatic headlights, cruise control, crome interior accents, a trip computer, or steering wheel audio controls. The R-spec is available in Karussel White, Bathurst Black and Tsukuba Red.
